HF BALUN details:
INTRODUCTION:
HF BALUNS are used in Broadband Antennas to cover High frequency band. HF BALUN is commonly used between antenna feeder cable and antenna input terminals. A BALUN matches the input impedance to the desired value of the input antenna. HF balun is even applied with HF monopole antennas to widen their bandwidth. A HF BALUN makes an antenna frequency response wider and smoother throughout the band. A well designed BALUN increase the efficiency of HF antenna. Our HF broadband antennas are also consists BALUN for all the above reasons.
CONSTRUCTION:
We have each model of HF BALUN in two different configurations:
1. Including choke.
2. Without choke.
Conductor material is copper.
Core material with very good high frequency core properties.
As an input connector UHF(F) or N-F connector are normally used. By default we use UHF-female connector for input and two end terminals are supplied with the BALUN at the output end.
